Matthew - Capstone Blog Post 3

This week I set up my development environment for the project. I started by resetting Windows 10, in order to ensure that I would be working with a blank slate. Then I installed the Anaconda distribution for Python 3 and created a project environment. From there, the process was just a matter of following the Windows installation guides for SerpentAI and Tensorflow-GPU . I chose Windows for my platform because I have a GTX 980 and wanted to be able to get the most out of it with NVIDIA's proprietary drivers and toolkits. This is possible on Linux, but in my personal experience it can be much more difficult and also less stable, depending on your Linux distribution. SerpentAI With SerpentAI set up I decided I should go ahead and test it out. Rei told me that we should start by using a game called Rivals of Aether as our training platform.
